Tony Rickards of Utah is currently the Vice President of Archer Mechanical in Salt Lake City, and has held the position since the year 2005. As the Vice President, he is responsible for the management of daily operations of the company delegating tasks to a set of team leaders, and project managers. He also oversees all estimating operations and is responsible for new and existing customer relations. Prior to his Vice Presidency, Tony Rickards worked with the same company as a Journeyman Plumber, before being promoted to Foreman. As a plumber, he reads and interpreted blueprints, supervised the daily job sites and operational activities, oversaw installation of waste lines, ventilation, domestic water, and heating and chiller water lines.

As a Foreman, Rickards managed the daily job sites and operational activities. He directed workflow, staff and safety training, and employee development by hiring new employees and overseeing employee retention. Other responsibilities included inventory control, the ordering of new materials, outsourcing, ensuring timely completion of all jobs, delegation of work assignments, enforcing policies and procedures, filing of daily reports, and responding to and resolving daily issues and scheduling.

Although Tony Rickards of Utah enjoys his job as a Vice President, the road he took to get there played an important part in his life. He has a detailed skill set on an eye-popping resume. He earned his high school diploma from Hunter High School, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then obtained a Journeyman License from Utah pipe trades, and has been certified by the state. Shortly afterwards, he went to school at Salt Lake Community College, and earned an Associates of Science Degree and completed the OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 10 Hour Course.
